===== Leitz Thalia 65 120mm T2.6 ===== {{ :lens:1557763663_1456043.jpg?300|}} ==== Summary ==== The THALIA prime lenses offer a consistently cinematic look and feel throughout the range of 10 lenses from 24mm to 180mm with an image circle of 60mm. The macro-set within the THALIA-Set: 24mm, 55mm and 120mm. THALIA-T*: an optical design from 1935 with a dreamlike, romantic look without a filter (see data sheet in the download section). The lenses are incredibly lightweight and compact with a matched front diameter of 95 mm and are available in PL and LPL mount with Cooke/i and LDS2 metadata contacts. The unique always-round iris design creates a bokeh that is smooth, distinct and full of character. And although these are not vintage lenses, the THALIAs offer many of the characteristics that have led cinematographers to pair older lenses with digital sensors. They are smooth, forgiving, and clear without being overly sharp. ==== Tech Specs ==== | Manufacturer |Leitz| | Series |Prime| | Model |Thalia 65| | Focal Length |120mm| | Max Aperture |T2.6| | Min Aperture |T22| | Format |Full Frame| | Image Circle |60mm| | Minimum Focus |22.5 in.| | Focus Rotation |270| | Iris Blades |15| | Optical Design |-| | Squeeze |none| | Front Diameter |95mm| | Filter Thread |92mm| | Focus/Zoom Rod |-| | Native Mount |PL, LPL| | Data Protocol |Cooke /i| | Length |6.9 in.| | Weight |1407 g| | Body Telescope |none| | Body Material |Aluminum| | Focus Drive |Manual| | Iris Drive |Manual| | Zoom Drive |n/a| ==== History ==== Country of Origin: Germany \\ Release Date: - \\ Launch Price: - \\ Design Revisions:\\ ==== Service ==== Service Manual: [[staff:servicedb:Thalia|Disassembly/Re-assembly]] \\ \\ Full CLA: **6-8 hrs.**\\ Send to factory for major repairs/replacement parts\\ ==== Notes ==== ==== Media ====
