===== Pentax 67 SMC Takumar 55-100mm f/4.5 ===== {{ :lens:pentax55-100mm6x7f4.5.png?250|}} ==== Summary ==== The SMC Pentax 67 55-100mm f/4.5 is a rare and highly regarded wide-to-standard zoom introduced in 1998 for the Pentax 6×7 medium format system. It offered a 35mm equivalent focal range of approximately 28–50mm. Designed for landscape, travel, and general-purpose photography, it gave medium-format shooters the flexibility of framing without swapping primes—a major convenience in the field. Optically, it features an 11-element, 9-group design with Super Multi-Coating (SMC) and an 8-blade automatic diaphragm, stopping down to f/32. The lens focuses as close as 60cm, delivering a 0.21× magnification ratio, and uses a massive 95 mm filter thread. It weighs 1210g, measures 103 × 120 mm, and includes a manual aperture ring (no “A” setting). There’s no internal focusing or weather sealing, and the front element rotates during focusing. A dedicated PH-RBB95 hood and S120-160 soft case were typically bundled. ==== Tech Specs ==== | Manufacturer |Pentax| | Series |67| | Model |SMC Takumar| | Focal Length |55-100mm| | Max Aperture |f/4.5| | Min Aperture |f/32| | Format |6x7| | Image Circle |-| | Minimum Focus |60cm| | Focus Rotation |°| | Iris Blades |8| | Optical Design |11/9| | Squeeze |none| | Front Diameter |103mm| | Filter Thread |95mm| | Focus/Zoom Rod |none| | Native Mount |Pentax 6x7| | Data Protocol |none| | Length |120mm| | Weight |1210g| | Body Telescope |-| | Body Material |-| | Focus Drive |-| | Iris Drive |-| | Zoom Drive |-| ==== History ==== Country of Origin: \\ Release Date: 1998 \\ Launch Price: \\ Design Revisions: \\ ==== Service ==== Service Manual: (Insert link to manual here) \\ \\ Full CLA: **TBD hrs.**\\ \\ ==== Cine-Mod ==== Focus Ring O.D.: -\\ Zoom Ring O.D.: -\\ Iris Ring O.D.: -\\ De-click Y/N: -\\ Additional Notes: \\ ==== Notes ==== ==== Media ====
