{{ :lens:pentax75mm6x7f2.8al.png?300|}}
==== Summary ====
The SMC Pentax 67 75mm f/2.8 AL is a premium wide-angle prime introduced in 2001 as one of the final lenses for the Pentax 6×7 system, replacing the older 75mm f/4.5. Featuring a 7-element, 5-group optical design with an aspherical element, it delivers a 61° diagonal field of view, equivalent to a 35mm lens on full-frame, making it ideal for environmental portraiture, travel, and general-purpose shooting. The lens includes a 9-blade automatic diaphragm, stops down to f/22, and focuses as close as 41 cm, achieving a 0.2× magnification ratio—the shortest minimum focus distance of any Pentax 67 prime. It uses a 67 mm filter thread, weighs 560 g, and measures 92.5 × 66 mm, with a squat, modern profile and rubberized grip. It mounts via the inner bayonet, lacks internal focusing or an “A” setting, and pairs with the PH-RBA hood, which includes a trapdoor for polarizer adjustment.
