The Leitz Vetzlar Elmarit-R 35mm f/2.8 is a fast wide-angle prime lens for 35 mm Leica R SLR cameras.

The lens is remarkably sharp even when wide open, but with a faint vignetting. It was designed by Rudolf Ruehl in 1964. Total number of manufactured items - fewer than 32000.
