Service Manual: Disassembly/Re-assembly
Series Filter Thread Guide: Series Filter Threads Explained
Full CLA: 5-6 hrs.
This focal length has 2 versions of the serial # ring.
version 1: serial # ring threads on. loosen with acetone and unscrew.
version 2: the tricky one serial ring is glued on. Use a little acetone and a razor or thin spudger to pry it up.
Re-collimate: 2 hrs
remove FER and sunshade/FR to expose lock ring. loosen, check condition of teflon washer underneath, replace teflon as needed, rotate front group. Secure LR with LOTS of glue. let set fully before rotating focus. LR can cause front group to shift. always double check collimation.
Coupling: $50
see Leica-R Non-destructive Iris Coupling Guide for non-destructive and reversible procedure.
Once you remove the iris components, you can access the wire spring. If needed, the optics can drop out for better access but that requires more dis-assembly and time.

De-c
lick Y/N: Yes
Iris Coupling: Yes, $50
from what i see, we should be able to snip the wire once the mount and iris ring components are removed without further dis-assembly.
see Leica-R Non-destructive Iris Coupling Guide for non-destructive and reversible procedure.
