Test ALL Tribe⁷ lenses on O-tool as part of every approved service. Screenshot and save results to thumb drive on o-tool computer

C/A Optics: 2-4 hrs
to drop out optics: remove beauty ring, remove 4 phillips screws around front element and lift out optical core. Factory tolerance for imperfections on elements: For your reference: Our factory tolerance for scratches are “A single lens with this specification is allowed to have 3 “dots” of the size of 0.1mm and 3 scratches with the width of 0.016mm
Image shift: 1-2 hrs
image shift: factory spec - should be below 0.5mm at 6 feet (2 photosites) currently fix: rotate cam followers to not flat spots to reduce image shift (best effort). we have plans to fabricate new followers as replacements but have not done so yet
Rough iris: 3 hrs
Remove iris, shim under internal iris ring to relieve tension on bearings.
Centering/field: 2-3 hrs
centering screws in rear optics of 137mm only (must drop out optics to access) 37, 47, 57 do not have centering screws.
Re-collimate: 1-2 hrs
compatible with ZEISS 9 hole shims. Tribe⁷ shims sold as 8 piece set only (not individually)
SKIN Conversion: 1 hr. per lens
swap front element and witness ring. 3 different color temp options available. Confirm which is desired before swapping parts.
