ZEISS Aatma lenses are inspired by characteristics of some of the most beloved classic ZEISS lenses of the 20th century. Their legacy look evokes emotion with softly painted skin texture, a rich bokeh with subtle soap bubble effect, and smooth and vibrant focus transitions. Combined with all conveniences of modern cine lenses, the Aatma lenses let cinematographers put their signature in every frame to fully embrace the soul of their craft. The name “Aatma” was derived from the Sanskrit word meaning “innermost essence,” “self,” or “soul”.
